MEET ALLA

My name is Alla Kostanian. Im Ukrainian, ethnic Armenian. My parents moved to Ukraine from Armenia when the Soviet Union collapsed. 

I’m 34. Not married, no kids. Was born in east of Ukraine, in Luhansk, grow up in Kramatorsk, 17 years live in Kyiv. 

I’m journalist, interviewer, communications researcher, founded charitable foundation to provide psychological, educational, humanitarian support to the victims of the war. I study psychology, practice the method of empathic listening. Flamenco dancer, yoga lover. 

Almost 10 months of the war I am in Kyiv. My parents live in the east of Ukraine, Kramatorsk, where they are now.  
I'm moving to New York, with a mission to inform about Ukraine, write articles, interviews for Ukrainian edition “Ukrainska Pravda”, to fundraise, do social work, help parents.
